Generally, one needs to clear all backlogs to enter an MCA programme after a BCA. Most colleges have a rule that the student can apply for MCA as long as she/he has passed the BCA and cleared all subjects with backlogs. But, of course, eligibility criteria are strict in certain institutions where one would need no backlogs at the time of applying or admission. Thus, the best thing to do would be to check the specific requirements of the university you are interested in for accurate guidance on this matter.

No, since BIT MCA will be held as a remote-proctored test, there are no allotted exam centres. Candidates will have to attempt the exam at home or any other place with a working system and good internet.
