Yes, your decision is correct. It's good to do MBA rather than going for MCA. MCA is highly technical orientated and which is a further study of what you have learned in BCA classes. But MBA is not like that you will learn how to manage a company and you can also use the knowledge of BCA when required. In my opinion, you should go for MBA and do your higher studies and get placed in an IT firm. There, you can use both technical and managerial skills.

Eligibility Criteria:
Those who have cleared their Bachelor's degree in any discipline or are in the final year degree examination and have taken Mathematics as a subject in their high school examination or graduate level are eligible to apply for the MCA course. The aspirants should have achieved their Bachelor's degree from a certified university. Some reputed colleges require students to clear their graduation with a minimum of 60% marks.

Interested candidates will have to secure a good TANCET cut-off to be eligible for admission process. If your score in the range of 50-75 marks then your expected rank will be high enough to fetch admission in your dream college. Higher the marks, better the college options you will get for admissions.
