You can apply for MCA if you have any undergraduate degree with 50% marks. You will have to go through a selection process to get admission though. For more details kindly refer to:

Eligibility for Master of Computer Applications [M.C.A.]:
Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage.Apart from this there is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree; one must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject.

Certification is a good choice. MBA could be a better option if you feel the subjects are of your interest. The job opportunities after MBA with a good salary package is definitely high. You can also choose a different stream after completion of a year, according to your interest and choice. It is a stream where you can develop your personality and groom yourself along with the completion of the course. SPPU would be the best to do MBA.

MCA can not be pursued after Diploma, you need to have a UG degree for MCA. Hence, complete your UG first and then apply for MCA. Distance MCA will only be useful with work experience.

There is no dual degree program that combines MCA and M.Tech and after BCA, you can opt for MCA but not for M.Tech. There are integrated MCA and integrated M.Tech programs.

Hi,
It's good that you have specified your interest however, I am adding IT infrastructure as another choice which doesn't require programming knowledge very much. Cloud Computing, Security, Storage, Networking, Server-Client architecture all fall under IT infrastructure course.
However, in MCA, animation and graphics you don't need to deal with programming but in MCA you have to play with this.

Even though the two post-graduation courses are at same level there are some differences between them. MCA is a 3 year program where as M.Sc. computer science is a 2-year program. MCA covers the software and its application related field. M.Sc computer science covers the both hardware and software field. A person with strong background in computational and scientific field is only able to opt for this course. Those who have pursued a graduation in computer science or computer technology alone can opt for M.Sc computer science, while MCA can be done by any science graduate.
The career opportunities for both these graduates are many. But
