Even though the two post-graduation courses are at same level there are some differences between them. MCA is a 3 year program where as M.Sc. computer science is a 2-year program. MCA covers the software and its application related field. M.Sc computer science covers the both hardware and software field. A person with strong background in computational and scientific field is only able to opt for this course. Those who have pursued a graduation in computer science or computer technology alone can opt for M.Sc computer science, while MCA can be done by any science graduate.

Both are good. Animation will keep you confined to animations only but MCA will give you wide knowledge of the system and its applications. It depends upon your interest. Take time and think about it. Don't be hasty in taking important decision for your career.

The hostel fee remains same for every student regardless of their course. It's 1.5 lakh per year for AC and 80k per year for Non-AC. Only the accommodation is included. No food.

Industry-wise BE/B.Tech and MCA graduates are treated at the the same level, despite MCA being a post-graduate course, so pursuing MCA after BE won't be of much help to you. You should rather look out for good job opportunities or internship in a good company to get practical exposure.

Hi,
As you are aware that MCA is completely based on computer application related Master's degree where M.Sc and in biochemistry is a completely opposite in nature. Comparing between M.Sc and MCA from the job perspective, there are no significant differences, however, MCA prospects little higher than M.Sc.
Now, I am leaving this to you because since your graduation was on biochemistry and the computer you would like to take as a master degree. How well will you take? Before taking any decision, I would advise you to take a quick look at MCA course content.

First of all, why do you even want to pursue MCA after M.Sc in CS as both are post graduation courses in computers? Rather you should look out for some good work options and enhance your technical expertise.
