There are 12 private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu which offer admissions to students under the NRI quota. The total number of seats in these 12 private colleges are 1650. Of these 1650, as many as 15% seats i.e. approximately 240 are available to NRI students.

The eligibility criteria for applying to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programme at AIIMS Patna is as follows:

  1. Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have a recognised Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a Dental Council of India (DCI) recognised dental college or university.

  2. Internship Completion: Candidates should have completed a compulsory rotatory internship of one year in an approved/recognized dental college.

  3. Registration: It is mandatory for candidates to be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council.

  4. Minimum Marks: General/OBC candidates should have obtained at least 55% aggregate

For admission to a three-year MD course at KGMU, there is basic eligibility criteria as per NBE norms. Admissions to this course is based on NEET PG scores. To appear for this entrance exam and admission to MD is offered to those who hold MD degree from a university recognised by Medical Council of India with minimum 55% aggregate in the case of General & OBC categories. There is a relaxation of five percent for SC/ ST category candidates. The reserved category candidates are required to obtain 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of MD.

AIIMS Jodhpur accepts INI CET scores for admission to MD courses. INI CET Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2023 for the July session was released on July 7. As per the INI CET Round 2 cutoff list, the closing rank was 28 for MD in General Medicine. For INI CET R2 closing ranks other than General Medicine, candidates can refer to the table given below:
