If you hv mbbs from india, you can go ahead with md from US as it will add new dimension to your career because of the rigour it requires. MD in india is equally competent though.

Hi Pratik,
Indian MDS is recognized all over the world. Irrespective of where you go if you plan to settle abroad with a medical career you must obtain the license of that country. Please decide which country you plan to settle down in and look for medical licensing information. You must either pursue a course there or give standardized exams.

Hi Adit,
To set up your own pharmacy or chemists and druggists shop, you need to register with the state pharmacy council. You may even apply in good pharma companies as a medical representative and apply for pharmacist post in hospitals. You can even start working in government department and do research and development work.
