DU offers MDS courses through affiliated colleges like Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi and Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, MAMC via NEET MDS exam. For the MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialisation, the cutoff rank stood at 33 for Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi. But, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, MAMC, the cutoff was not released for this particular course. People's University allows entrance exam score choices for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programme admission. The two pre-approved entrance exams for postgraduate study are the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) and the All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGDEE). The university accepts USPNEE scores exceeding 300 points from 1200 possible and USIPGDEE scores surpassing 400 points from 600 offerings. Based on the DY Patil Dental College MDS cut-off for the last round of admissions in 2024, MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge turned out to be the most difficult to secure admission to. During the last round, the cut-off rank at which the admission for Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge closed at was 4,131 for the General (AIQ) candidates. For the same category, MDS in Oral Medicine and Radiology turned out to be the least competitive specialisation, with a closing rank of 13,904.
