The seat intake for LLB at Department of Law MDU is 120. Candidaets wishing to get a seat at the course are required to follow the admission process set out by the university. Admissions to the course are merit based. Candidates who have cleared the admission rounds are eligible to pay the course fee and secure their seat at the same.

The seat intake for the courses at Department of Law MDU is as follows:
- LLM: 60
- BA-LLB: 120
- LLB: 120
Candidates are required to follow the admission process in order to secure a seat at their desired course. Candidates who make it to the final shortlist of the admission process are eligible to pay the course fee.

Department of Law MDU offers courses at multiple levels for candidates. The courses that candidates can apply to in the admission process 2025 are:
- BA-LLB: The five-year law course is offered at the UG level for candidates who have cleared Class 12
- LLM: It is a two-year Masters course that is offered to candidates who have completed their LLB or a five-year UG law programme
- LLB: The three-year course is designed for candidates wishing to pursue the field of law as their career. Candidates must have completed their graduation with any programme in order to be eligible for the course

The total tuition fees for BSc at MDU Rohtak ranges from INR 2,400 to INR 1.8 lakh. There are other components included in the fee structure as well. Some of these components are security deposit, library fees, etc. Students have to pay the admission fees or the first semester fees to confirm their seats.
