Medical College Eligibility

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme at Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College and KEM Hospital, you must meet the following criteria:

Pass 12th with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English

For PwBD candidates, the minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology is 40%

Candidates who passed 12th from Open School or as private candidates are not eligible to appear for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State conducts counseling for MBBS NEETUG at Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College. 

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program at Ishan Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with mandatory subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. They must secure at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

2. Entrance Exam: Candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), as admissions are based on the NEET score followed by centralized counseling.

3. Age Limit: The minimum age for admission is generally 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year, with no upper age limit specified.

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program at Ishan Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. They must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

2. Entrance Exam: Candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission.

3. Age Limit: The minimum age for admission is typically 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year, while there is usually no upper age limit.

The eligibility criteria for the MS programme offered by Bharati Vidyapeeth DU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli are:

1. Age: Achieved eighteen years of age by December 31, of the year of entry into the university.
2. Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognised medical college, This is as per the set standards by the medical board as a requirement of anyone labeling themselves as a doctor.
3. Internship: Completed one-year internship
4. NEET PG: I am a NEET PG qualified doctor
5. Registration: This include permanent registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council
6. Academic performance: 50 % in aggregate marks in MBBS course
