GMC Nizamabad has a faculty team consisting of approximately 366 members, including senior residents, junior residents, and other staff members across various departments.

The college provides well-furnished hostel facilities for faculty members, undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as nursing students. There is a separate block within the college campus dedicated to the heads of departments, which includes spacious and well-furnished residential quarters. Additionally, residential quarters are available for registrars, medical doctors, and nursing staff at the hospital campus.

Government Medical College Nizamabad encourages student participation in a range of sports activities. Students actively engage in indoor games such as badminton, carrom, chess, and table tennis. They also participate in outdoor games such as cricket, football, volleyball, throwball, and basketball.
