According to my knowledge, MBBS 2nd year or 4th semester is the best time, to start preparation for NEET PG. Preparation tips:
1- know the syllabus.
2- Know the paper pattern and marking scheme
Exam pattern of NEET PG:
Mode of the test: Online
Medium of the test: English only
Duration of the exam: 3 hours and 30 minutes
Total number of question in the test: 200
Type of questions: MCQs
3- Try to solve the previous year's question papers.
4- Start with the basics.
5- Make short notes and highlight important information.
6- Attempt mock tests and test series.
