Why did you joined BCA in the first place?
You can't get admission in MBBS without any entrance exam. The entrance exam for MBBS or any other medical entrance exam is very tough. All the government and non- government medical colleges take admission on the basis of entrance exams only. You have already lost 1 year instead of going for medical and spending a minimum of 5 years more. I would suggest that you go for BCA.

If you aren't prepared for this year then take a drop. But whether the result after drop will be good or bad depends on you.
From my experience, it's a complete waste of time until and unless, you have the capability and also, really determined with the preparation.

B.Sc in medical lab technician (MLT) is better than BPT because after MLT, you can pursue M.Sc in public health. There will be more chances of getting central government jobs called UPSC but in BPT, the scope is very less.
