No, there are no separate state-level entrance exams for MDS Prosthodontics admissions in India. Admission to all MDS specializations, including Prosthodontics, is conducted through a single national-level entrance exam—NEET MDS—which is mandatory for all candidates, regardless of the state they belong to. In the first year, students learn the basics of prosthodontic materials, dental anatomy, and the fundamentals of fixed and removable prosthodontics. The second year includes advanced topics such as implantology, esthetic dentistry, and maxillofacial prosthetics, with practical training in clinics. The third year focuses on specialised areas such as full-mouth rehabilitation, complex dental restorations, and treatment planning.
