The options are unlimited, as you have done your class 12 with science. With the combination of biology, physics and chemistry you can take up medicine, dentistry, Pharmacy, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology, Microbiology). Apart from doing the degree level courses in science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration, hotel management, tourism management etc. you can also opt for courses outside the university stream, such as hotel management, fashion technology, industrial design, packaging, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses and a host of post 10 + 2 level vocational courses. For pursuing a course in engineering you should have Maths as compulsory subject in 10+2. To get admission in the top medical college in India you would need to score above 90% in 12th and do very well in entrance exam.

You can ofcourse do Engineering which is a professional degree and has streams such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic and Communication etc. You can do your graduation in subjects of your interest, even switching to Humanities or Commerce streams if you so desire. You can do a BCA (Computer Applications), BBA (Business Administration), Law, Civil Aviation – Pilot, Astronomy, Architecture, Design, Mass Communication, Merchant Navy, Defense Forces, Psychology, Civil Services etc. To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful in your chosen field.

Today there are lots of streams in medical rather than only degree so called 'MBBS'.
And except BDS and B.Pharma all other career will lead you either to conduct a research work or to become a lecturer and professor.
1. Biotech in medicine
2. Microbiology
3. Bionics
4. Nanotechnology
5. Artificial Intelligence
and many others.
But the only problem is that you can only do your best in these if you study from abroad except microbiology, due to lack of technology and some other major problems in our country.
Also if you want to pursue a research work you can also do it after completing MBBS, basically it will be much easier then because you will already know the human body very well. Then give TOEFL and other exams and you can apply for scholarship in top medical schools in the world.
So, in this Century therefore are endless ways to conduct a research work, but it is upon you that through which stream you want to reach there.

Dear chidambara makar. since you are doing BDS, why not try CAT . so that you can get admission with indian institute of management which are top in india. from there you can get positions as you wish. MHA also good course but through CAT. you can do more best. the following collges offer MHA course:
