You need to score 50 % in aggregate in 12th to be eligible to write commerce and medical entrance examinations. Other criterias varies with examinations.

Its good to know that you are interested in this field. To start your career, you need to pass 10+2 from science stream along with biology. The entrance test for bachelors is conducted by All India Common Entrance Examination. After doing Bachelors in animal husbandry BVsc and AH one can go for masters. The entrance exam for masters is conducted by Indian Council for Agricultural Research The bachelors course is of 5 years in which the first four and half years are meant for theoretical studies and the last six months are meant for internship. That's exactly what I think is the best thing about going for science branch. You can switch to whatever other branches if you would like. Like you can opt for commerce, arts. Regarding options in the science premises itself, you have agriculture, biotechnology, botany, forestry, pisciculture and what not? or you could always go for bachelor of sciences, B.Sc in Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and then with a graduation degree could be looking to give exams for Indian Administrative Services or State Level Administrative Services. I mean the choices are unlimited and if you like you could become an artist or a chef or a musician.

If you want to do BSc (Hons) Agriculture in future, it is recommended that you take Med stream at +2 stage. Basics of Botony will be helpful in your further studies. In case you change your mind after +2 you can also become doctor or dentist
