No, that's not possible. Dermatology is a medical branch, and it requires you have PCB subjects in Class 12, an MBBS degree, followed by an MD or DNB in Dermatology.
Though they seem similar, both are completely different paths.

In simple words, Estheology is more comprehensive than Cosmetology. A Cosmetologist specializes in general beauty services like manicure, haircut, makeup, etc. Meanwhile, an Esthetician performs procedures like chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, etc., improving the skin or hair health.

Not really. I would say skills are a thing you can build, but interest and passion are the ones you need. A cosmetology course can teach you all the methods or train you for beauty services, but if you don't have a passion to follow, you'll barely succeed or survive in the industry.
Before committing to any course, analyze yourself and your interests. There are plenty of options from makeup to nail, hair, and so on, and you can learn.

Of course, it is. The beauty & fitness market is booming. People have started investing significantly in their skin, hair, and body.
Not only are they choosing healthier lifestyles, but also growing their interest in their overall appearance. This has made a major change in the beauty market in recent years.
With a Cosmetology degree or diploma, you can become a hair or nail stylist, a makeup artist, a freelance artist, or even a salon owner. The scope is limitless.

There's no comparison to be honest.
Dermatology is a medical field where you treat patients with skin, hair, and nail problems. On the other hand, Cosmetology is where you provide salon services to enhance the appearance of your consumer.
Dermatologists treat acne, hair loss, or infections. Cosmetologists work on beauty improvements.

You can become a Hairstylist, Makeup Artist, Nail Artist, Salon Manager, and whatnot.
And this is not it, you can even become a salon owner, a beauty influencer, a freelance makeup artist, or even launch your own makeup or hair products line.

There might be a lower age limit for certain Cosmetology courses in India which is usually 16 years at the time of admission but there is no upper age limit. Other than the age requirements you should make sure to fulfill the academic eligibility for your preferred Cosmetology courses to grab a seat at a top institute/college in India.

It depends on the course you want to pursue. If you want to go for a BSc in Cosmetology and Dermatology, you should have a Science background in Class 12 with at least 50 to 60% marks, but if your plan is to go for other courses like a Diploma or certification, a Science background is not a mandatory requirement. You can complete your Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board with decent marks.
