You can change your college but it would be good if you can contact both the colleges before deciding upon anything.

The options are unlimited, as you have done your class 12 with science. With the combination of biology, physics and chemistry you can take up medicine, dentistry, Pharmacy, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology, Microbiology).
Apart from doing the degree level courses in science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration, hotel management, tourism management etc. you can also opt for courses outside the university stream,

Medical and Biotechnology though related due to some similar subjects are very different courses. The job profile after completing these courses is also different.
Job prospects after biotechnology have increased now as compared to job prospects that existed some years back. What I recommend is that you choose a course based on your aptitude and interest. That will be beneficial to you in the long run. So you can get career counselling done from a good counsellor. That will give you a clarity about your decision.
All the best! You can write back to ask any more questions or reach us.
