No, it is mandatory to clear FMGE if you have completed your undergraduate medical degree programme from outside India. However, candidates with an undergraduate medical degree from New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the United States of America or the United Kingdom, are exempted from FMGE. They need not to appear for FMGE exam for pursuing Masters in medical field. Candidates have to apply on the official website, NBE. Edu. In to register and submit application for the exam.
