With a score of 154 in NEET, it will be challenging to get a seat in a government medical college for B.Sc Nursing since the cut-off scores are generally higher for government colleges. Government colleges consider candidates with more NEET score for nursing. Though there could be a chance of getting admission in certain government colleges with lower cutoffs or reserved categories, depending on the state and seat availability. You could also try private nursing colleges, although fees would be more. It is best to look for specific cutoff trends and counseling updates for more precise details.

If your NEET scores are not enough for direct MBBS admission, you can try a few things. One is private medical colleges, which have lower cutoffs but higher fees. Some colleges also provide management quota seats, but at a higher fee.

With a NEET rank of approximately 4 lakh, getting an MBBS seat in government colleges in Uttarakhand can be tough because of the huge competition. You may have an opportunity in private medical colleges with comparatively lower fees. Some of the private colleges in Uttarakhand providing MBBS with lower fees than the top-class institutions are:
Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun
Shree Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Dehradun
The charges in such colleges are anywhere from INR 10-15 Lacs a year in the management quota, and these colleges may grant some concession to students from lower NEET ranks.

With an AIR of 12,000 in NEET, getting admission in AFMC Pune (Armed Forces Medical College) can prove to be tough, as AFMC's cutoffs are always very high. AFMC also has limited seats available and the admission involves more parameters such as a medical fitness test and personal interview as well.

For Haryana state counseling, All India Rank (AIR) and state rank are generally taken into account, with the state rank having a significant role in seat allotment under the state quota. Your NEET score of 181 would not be competitive for a government MBBS seat in Haryana, but you might still be considered in private medical colleges such as World Medical College, Jhajjar. Private colleges tend to have lower cutoffs, but the management quota seat fees are high. It is better to inquire with the college regarding their particular cutoffs for the management or NRI quota for improved prospects.

With a NEET rank of 458,790 and a score of 363, admission to a government BHMS college can be challenging, as the cutoffs of government colleges are usually higher. You might have a possibility in government colleges of certain states with lower cutoffs or in reserved categories, based on the cutoff trends of that year. Alternatively, you can look up private BHMS colleges where the cutoff may be lower, even though the costs are higher. It's wise to find the exact cutoffs for government as well as private colleges in the states you'd like to choose from.

With a NEET UG ranking of 268, it's not possible to get an MBBS seat in government medical colleges because the usual cutoffs would be very high. You would have a fair chance in private medical colleges or deemed universities because the cutoffs there are normally lower, and particularly under management or NRI quota, even though the seats there are significantly more expensive. The chance also varies with the category (General, SC/ST, OBC) and college. It's better to verify the cutoff information of private colleges and seek management quota seats in order to increase admission possibilities.

With 122 NEET marks in 2024, your son can be considered for a B-category (management quota) seat in private medical colleges, although it all greatly depends on the individual college and the cutoff for management quota seats. The cutoffs for B-category seats are generally lower than those for government quota seats, but they have higher fees. The cutoffs and eligibility for such seats are different from college to college, so it is better to directly talk to the private medical colleges for knowing their B-category seat availability, cutoff marks, and fees structure to ascertain your son's chances.
