Yes, according to the recent UGC guidelines, students can study two degrees at the same time, one in regular mode and the other in online or distance mode. This implies it is legally permitted to study an MBBS degree in regular mode and also take admission in a BA degree in online mode. Nevertheless, you need to ensure that both universities accept this arrangement and that there are no NMC restrictions from the Medical Council of India on further degree programs during MBBS. It is best to inquire with your MBBS school and the provider of the BA programme to ensure that they are compliant with their regulations.

Your daughter might have trouble getting into government medical colleges with 146 NEET scores because the cutoff is usually higher. However she can look into private medical schools or other possibilities, such as studies in allied health sciences, BDS, or nursing which frequently have lower cutoffs. Since these fluctuate every year, it is advisable to verify the precise cutoff for different universities and courses. Additionally, certain private universities might provide management quota seats. Regional preferences may also improve her prospects as certain states offer state-specific advice for medical admissions. If medical MBBS ad

The number of applications, available seats, and state-specific quotas are some of the variables that affect admission chances. For example, the All India Rank (AIR) of 201386 with a score of 502 was the 2024 state quota cutoff for ST applicants in government medical institutes in Andhra Pradesh

With 566 marks in NEET 2024 in the OC category it would be difficult but not impossible to get a seat in a government medical college Government medical college cutoff depends on many factors like the level of difficulty in the exam, number of applicants and application state. Generally, your marks are in the range of some of the lower government colleges, but top medical colleges will have higher cutoffs. To be safe, you can go for state quotas or counseling rounds, i.e., All India and state counseling, where the cutoff may be different. Track official counseling announcements.
