If you're considering admission to a private medical college due to concerns about your NEET performance, it's a viable option if you have the financial means. Many students choose this path, and while the cost is higher, it can provide a pathway to achieving your goal of becoming a doctor.

Same problem here.Has your problem been solved? Actually I will change my name after NEET 2025 as I'm a NEET 2025 aspirant and I hope I will have the affidavit, newspaper advertisement & gazette notification and changed aadhar, pan, voter id etc. but only 10th&12th documents will not be changed till then as it takes time. So will there be any problem to get admission, or while participating in councelling process should I make the registration with my new name or old name as I will have changed my name in aadhar, pan, voter id etc. but 10&12th documents is unchanged?
Please let me know bro.

The cutoff marks needed for MBBS admission into Maharashtra NEET 2024 programs include:
General Category: 720-162
SC/ST/OBC Categories: 161-127
General-PH Category: 161-144
A group of established marks serves as the requirements universities use for determination of candidate eligibility. There exists a potential increase in actual admission cutoff values between institutions. The open category cutoff in government medical colleges of Maharashtra increased from 587 to 642 during the 2023-24 session.

It may be difficult to get into a government medical institution with a 60% grade in your 12th board particularly for MBBS programs which have high cutoff scores. Government medical schools usually require a competitive NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) score in addition to strong academic credentials especially in biology and chemistry. Despite your rather low Chemistry and Biology scores you might still be able to get into the All India Quota or the State Quota, depending on the cutoff, if you do well on the NEET. To increase your prospects it is advised that you concentrate on raising your NEET score.

Hi,
There's no provision for lateral entry to MBBS programme through BSc Nursing or any course. You'll be required to fulfil eligibility criteria to get admission to MBBS program, clear NEET UG exam and get a seat in 1st year as every student.
