With a NEET score of 397, it can be difficult to get a seat for MBBS in Tamil Nadu, particularly in government medical colleges, since the cutoffs for MBBS are generally higher. For government colleges, the cutoff is generally around 450–550 marks based on the category and the competition of the year.

With a NEET score of 307 in 2024, your daughter might be struggling to find a seat in MBBS or BDS courses in government colleges because of heavy competition and cutoffs. But she has a hope in private medical or dental colleges, though there will be a high fee structure. For BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), the cutoff marks are lower than for MBBS and BDS, so she might have a greater possibility of admission in BAMS. It's better to see the particular cutoffs for various institutions and look into private options too.

In Gujarat, to become eligible for admissions to MBBS under the state quota, one needs to fulfill certain domicile conditions. Since you are a student studying Class 12 in Gujarat and were born in Gujarat, you are fulfilling the domicile criteria for Gujarat MBBS admissions. The Gujarat High Court has ruled that students who have studied from Class 8 to 12 in Gujarat can be considered for state quota seats, even without a domicile certificate.

With a NEET 2024 score of 629 marks and rank 49,400, your son stands a good opportunity to get MBBS admission, but it is highly dependent on the category and the colleges he applies to. For general category students, this score may be competitive in private medical colleges and a few state-run colleges. But getting a seat in a government medical college may be difficult as the cutoff mark is higher. It is suggested to go for counseling and to apply to different colleges so the chances of admission are higher.

With 83 marks in NEET 2024, getting a BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) seat in government colleges is improbable. But lower NEET score candidates might be considered by some private homeopathy colleges for management quota seats. Admission requirements and availability differ institution-wise and as per state laws. It is better to look up and directly contact private BHMS colleges to ask about their individual admission criteria and seat availability. Also, try exploring other medical courses or re-preparing for NEET to have better opportunities.

Rank 551,822 under NEET 2024 as an OBC female is unlikely to have a government MBBS seat, but you could try in private or deemed universities on the management quota. A large number of private colleges in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh provide management seats at a lower NEET score.
