It depends on the course in which the student is interested. King George's Medical University offers various courses in the field of Medicine. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in NEET UG, NEET SS, or NEET PG for admission, depending on the course. Admission to BSc and UG Diploma courses does not require the NEET exam.

The NEET exam date is decided by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body, on behalf of the Ministry of Education. NTA decides the NEET exam date after analysing several internal and external factors such as the previous year's exam date, Board exams and other entrance exam dates, elections, festivals, to name a few.

NTA has not announced the NEET UG 2026 dates as of now. The NEET exam date 2026 will be released soon. While NTA does not postpone the NEET exam date in general, it is common for NTA, the exam conducting authority to extend or postpone the dates of application form submission last date or the application correction last date.
