Selection is based on the NEET exam.

Admission to MBBS at GMC Nagpur is based on the score obtained by the candidates in the NEET UG exam. Candidates with a valid NEET score have to then register and appear for the NEET Counseling for securing a seat for admission at GMC Nagpur.

So, if you want to join MBBS at Government Medical College, then clear NEET exam organised by NTA and clear their cutoff and join MBBS college.

Around 10%-15% of the students from the MBBS course get qualified in the first attempt for the PG entrance exam. They get their courses and colleges depending on the marks scored by them in the PG entrance exams. Every MBBS graduate is allowed to practice as a medical officer in rural health centres as many years as they want. The minimum salary offered is Rs. 55,000-60,000 per month. They can also do paid tutorships. So, it is good college for MBBS .
