You have less chance to get into the A. M. C. -M.E. T. Medical College, Ahmedabad, even through the state quota with 471 marks in NEET UG. The NEET UG cutoff for A. M. C. Medical College has been around 527 marks in 2021 for 85% of the state government quota seats in the open category. Even in categories such as EWS and SEBC, the cutoff was higher than 490. If you want to pursue MBBS from this medical college and are financially well off, you may go for admission under the management quota. Yes, the National Medical Commission's (NMC) guidelines that fees for at least 50% of seats in private colleges should be at par with the fees of the government medical college (GMC) of the state are applicable in Odisha. NMC had directed private colleges to ensure that the fee for the 50% of seats is on par with the fee at the government medical college of that particular state and UT. Recently, the Government of Odisha issued a notice to the private medical colleges in the state regarding the proposed fee structure for MBBS and asked them to submit their proposals to adhere to these guidelines.

The NEET exam is conducted at the national level for MBBS Course. For the MBBS course, it is not necessary for the students to get admission to any medical college based on their class 12th results. However, to appear in NEET examinations, you need to score at least 50 percent marks if you are a general candidate (GN), 40 percent marks if you belong to any of the other backward classes (OBC), 40 percent marks if you belong to any of the scheduled tribes (ST), 40 percent marks if you belong to any of the scheduled castes (SC), and a minimum of 45 percent if you belong to the Person with Disability (PWD) category.

With a 9576 NEET rank, you may not get admission into AIIMS Mangalagiri. AIIMS Mangalagiri generally has a higher admission cutoff and in the final round of 2021 had a closing rank of around 6544 for the OBC category. However, you may get admission into some other top government medical colleges for MBBS like Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences. According to the previous year's MBBS cut-off, the expected cut-off for 2022 is 470 marks for the general category, 450 marks for OBC, 460 for EWS, 410 for SC, and 250 marks for ST.

The candidate category is mean the candidate (Student) is belonging to categories such as General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PWD. Allotted category means the candidate seat is actually allotted to a certain category. For example. One college has a total of 100 seats which are allocated by a certain percentage, the first 40 seats for general (any one category can get that seat), 41- 60 for OBC, 61- 70 for EWS, 71-80 for SC, 81- 90 for ST, 91-95, PWD- 95-100. According to their official website, they mention the fee is as per govt norms. So, it should be typically between 30,000 to 80,000 INR per annum.

In Anand Nursing College, the fee structure for GNM for the first year is Rs. 80,000, then Rs. 70,000 per year for consecutive 2, and 3 years.
