The Important dates related to the MHT-CET Law application process for admissions to LLB courses in Shankarrao Chavan Law College, as followed by the official Maharashtra State CET Cell schedule, are usually released in April with the last date usually in May. The MHT-CET Law exams take place in June, and results are usually announced in July. After the announcement of results, the counseling process and seat allotment procedure is conducted. While filling out the MH CET Law registration form, candidates can select up to three exam centers. Follow these steps to select your preferred centers:

  1. Visit the official CET Cell website: cetcell.mahacet.org. 
  2. Enter your name, parents' names, communication address, residential address, and complete the registration process.
  3. After registration, proceed to fill out the application form and select three test centers from the list provided by the exam authority.
  4. Save these details and pay the application fee.

Yes, students who are from arts, science or commerce background can apply for the MH CET Law exam. The MH CET Law eligibility criteria are more inclined towards the academic qualification rather than the stream the student belongs to. To offer the 5-year integrated LLB program, all aspirants must have passed their 12th standard (or equivalent) from a recognized board of education. For the 3-year LLB program, all the students must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Unlike other streams there are no restrictions when it comes to taking the exam thus many students can attempt it.

Admission to the BA LLB programme at ILS Law College requires completion of the CET exam. First-year admission to all three- and five-year law programmes is determined by the Maharashtra Law Common Entrance Test (CET) score. Students must meet certain basic qualifying requirements in order to appear in the CET. There are no seats available at ILS Law College in the management quota. For 3-year LLB, you need a 3-year graduation degree from a recognised university in Maharashtra. The passing marks are 45%, with exceptions for different categories. For 5-year LLB, you should have passed 10th and 12th standard exams. The minimum passing marks are the same, and the education pattern should be (10+2).8 Jan 2024.
