In the MH CET Law counselling process, candidates are given two options after the seat allotment: Freeze and Float. These options allow candidates to decide whether they want to accept the allotted seat or keep their options open for further rounds of counselling.

Freeze Option:

The Freeze option allows candidates to lock in their current seat allotment and not participate in subsequent rounds of counselling. This option is beneficial for candidates who are satisfied with their current seat allotment and do not wish to risk losing it.

Once a candidate chooses the Freeze option, they cannot participate in further rounds of counselling. They are considered to have accepted the allotted seat and must complete the admission process for that college.

Float Option:

The Float option allows candidates to keep their current seat allotment while still participating in subsequent rounds of counselling. This option is beneficial for candidates who are not entirely satisfied with their current seat allotment but still want to keep their options open.

If a candidate chooses the Float option, they can still participate in further rounds of counselling. If they are allotted a better seat in a subsequent round, they can accept the new seat and forfeit their current seat. However, if they are not allotted a better seat in a subsequent round, they will be retained in their current seat allotment.

Choosing Between Freeze and Float:

The decision of whether to choose Freeze or Float should be based on an individual candidate's assessment of their priorities and preferences. If a candidate is confident that their current seat allotment is the best option for them, then choosing Freeze is a safe choice. However, if a candidate is not entirely satisfied with their current seat allotment and still wants to explore better options, then choosing Float allows them to keep their options open.

AP stands for Centralized Admission Process. It is a common online platform used for seat allocation in various educational institutions in Maharashtra, including law colleges. The CAP process is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) of Maharashtra.

2. Marks Obtained in Each Subject: Marks obtained in each subject of the MH CET Law entrance exam, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English, and Marathi.
