MTech in MIT Pune is a two-three year duration course, which is approved by UGC. To get admission in MTech, the candidate should have graduation with 50% and  Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocational subject.

The selection process for this programme is based on the following criteria:

• Score in PERA: Candidates with a valid rank in either of these examinations will be eligible for admission.
• Score in GATE: Candidates with a valid GATE score will also be eligible for admission.
• Personal interaction: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in the above examinations and will be invited for a personal interaction with the admission committee. The personal interaction will be conducted to assess the candidate's overall suitability for the program.

The application fee for MIT-WPU is Rs. 1500/-. The fee can be paid only through online mode. Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents in the MIT-WPU admission portal:

• Class 10th and 12th mark sheets
• Proof of identity and residence
• GATE/JEE/PERA scorecard
• Any other relevant documents

Candidates who fail to upload the required documents and pay the application fee will not be considered for admission.

To be eligible for M.Tech degree course, candidates must have:

• A BE/BTech degree from a recognised university or institute.
• A valid score in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
• A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their BE/BTech degree

• Score in MIT-WPU CET 2023 or PERA 2023: Candidates with a valid rank in either of these examinations will be eligible for admission.
• Score in GATE 2023: Candidates with a valid GATE score will also be eligible for admission.

To be eligible for admission in BTech programme at MIT Pune, candidates must have a valid rank in one of the following entrance examinations: JEE 2023, MHTCET 2023, or PERA 2023. They must also have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their Class 12 examinations. with PCM and Technical Vocational subjects.

To be eligible for admission to the four-year BPharma degree programme at MIT Pune, candidates must have a valid rank in one of the following entrance examinations: JEE 2023, MHTCET 2023, or PERA 2023. They must also have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB in their 10+2 or 12th examinations.

• Valid rank in entrance examinations: JEE 2023, MHTCET 2023, PERA 2023
• Minimum aggregate marks of 60% in PCM/PCB.

Eligibility for MIT WPU courses:

• Outside Maharashtra state candidates: Direct admissions are done on the basis of scores in JEE Main through MIT-WPU Counselling.
• Maharashtra state candidates: Compulsory to appear in JEE Main or MHT-CET to get admission in any of the Colleges of Maharashtra.
