U.S. News & World Report has placed MIT’s graduate programme in Engineering at the top of its annual rankings released for 2024. The institute has bagged the No.1 place in 1990. Furthermore, the MIT Sloan School of Management is also placed highly. It occupies the No. 5 spot for the best graduate business programs. Among individual Engineering disciplines, MIT is placed 1st in six areas such as Chemical Engineering; Aerospace / Aeronautical / Astronautical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering.

Yes, there are many scholarships available. Many are provided by MIT, in both cases need-based and merit-based. In fact, 58% of all UG students there at MIT for Management are on scholarship.

According to QS ranking, MIT Sloan school of Business remains #3 best University in world to pursue MBA from. It is because school is very well known for its pioneer faculties, infrastructure, high employability and practical curriculum. 

Graduates from MIT are in great demand among employers which increases chances of employability, they offer hands on experience learning and work on students' leadership skills.

To be able to successfully apply to this school as an Indian student, you must fulfill these requirements:

According to unofficial source, acceptance rate for MIT Business School is 14% (2025), which means out of 100 candidates, only 14 were able to receive an offer letter from this school.
