Nalanda University offers admission to numerous postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, and certificate courses, such as MA, MSc, MBA, and PhD. The university has a common method of admitting candidates to these courses, i.e. merit in the last qualifying examination. However, for MBA admissions, the university considers the scores of national-level entrance exams. A common eligibility for all PG and doctoral courses is given below:

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognised university with 55 percentage or 2.2/4.0 GPA or equivalent GPA Proof of English proficiency is required for students coming from non English speaking medium: TOEFL/IELTS or any other standard certification in English. The candidate having full-time degree-level course, entirely taught and assessed in English need not submit any certificate.

For Working Executives-  Minimum 5 years of working experience.

No Objection Certificate is required from employer for working executives/sponsored candidates/ candidates on sabbatical/candidates recommended by PSUs
