BNYS generally combines ancient healing arts with modern health sciences. You will learn about yoga, herbal medicine, nutrition, movement, and lifestyle strategies to support and maintain natural health.

The added benefit is that you will emphasize supporting the body's natural healing ability, rather than giving a prescription, or surgery. You could practice as a naturopath, a wellness coach, or lean more towards yoga, if you are passionate about natural health and well-being.

Emphasizing prevention and natural therapy, naturopathy deals with the underlying causes of illness instead of treating symptoms. So, if you wanna be a naturopathy doctor in India, there's a set way to do it.

First, you gotta complete a BNYS degree from a recognized college. Then, there's a one-year internship where you actually get to practice naturopathy and yoga at hospitals or health centers.

After that, you need to register with the proper authority, and only then can you officially start working as a naturopathy doctor.
