Hence, candidates must be born by December 31, 2008, in order to be eligible to appear for NEET 2025, which was scheduled for May 4, 2025, for the academic year 2025-26. Yes, you are eligible for NEET UG being an ST category candidate. You should have passed 12th Class with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology and minimum of 40% aggregate marks of these subjects taken together. Your aggregate scores of 39 in Biology, 40 in Physics and 40 in Chemistry are meeting the eligibility criterion as overall aggregate for the ST candidate require only 40%. To qualify for NEET, the eligibility criteria dictate that all subjects in the 12th examination must be passed, including Chemistry, with the required minimum marks. Since you have "RT" (Result Pending or Reappear) along with Chemistry, you cannot fill the NEET form unless you clear with a reappearance in the Chemistry theory paper.

Your total percentage in the PCB subjects (51%) is under the least required for NEET eligibility (usually it's around 50% for General Category, and about 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwDs). On clearing Chemistry paper and scoring the required marks in PCB, you can apply for NEET.

You should either have completed or be completing 17 years of age as of 31st December 2025, to be eligible to write the NEET UG 2025 exam. That means, to be eligible for NEET-UG 2025, you should have been born on or before 31/12/2008.

A candidate must of at least 17 years as of December 31 of the academic year. Unless candidates meet the lower age limit criterion, they would not be considered eligible to appear for NEET for the particular year. To be eligible for NEET, candidates must fulfil criteria set by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For eligibility in NEET, you must have at least 50% aggregate marks in your 12th board examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in case you are a candidate from the general category. However, if you fall under the reserved category SC/ST/OBC then the minimum percentage required is 40%. You would score 45 in Physics, 48 in Chemistry, and 46 in Biology. Your PCB percentage comes out to be less than 50%, which puts you out of the contention list for NEET unless you belong to some sort of reserved category.

Before,  if aspirants didn't take biology in Class 12, aspirants couldn't apply for NEET. But now applicants with the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) background in their 11th and 12th grades have the opportunity to pursue a medical career.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has reformed the eligibility criteria for the NEET-UG examination, allowing class XII students without biology in their core subject combination to apply for the test.
