Dear reader,
Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.
The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling. The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.
For more information kindly contact their concerned department.
I hope this information helps.

hi,
Seats during LPU NEST counselling are allocated based on the candidate's rank, choices filled, and seat availability. After qualifying the exam, candidates must register for counselling, fill in their preferred courses and specializations, and lock their choices. Allocation is done in order of merit—higher-ranked candidates get priority. If the preferred seat is unavailable, the system allots the next best option. Once a seat is allotted, candidates must confirm admission by paying the initial fee within the given deadline. Failure to do so may result in losing the seat, and it gets offered in subsequent counselling rounds.

If two applicants score same marks in NEST exam, then they will get same provisional ranks when the result will be declared. But the tie breaker between them will be done during counselling/admission process by comparing the marks secured by applicants in class 12th exam.

The primary purpose of LPU NEST counselling is to allocate seats to qualified candidates. Based on the rank or score obtained in the LPU NEST examination, candidates are called for counselling in order of their merit. Counselling allows the university to verify the authenticity of the documents submitted by candidates during the application process. This verification ensures that the candidates meet the eligibility criteria and have provided accurate information.
