An onscreen scientific calculator will also be given for calculation. Rough work has to be done on the paper and pen given to them at the centre. No, there is no sectional weightage in the NEST 2024 exam. All four sections (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) carry equal weightage of 50 marks each.
This means your performance in each section contributes equally to your total score. There's no specific section that holds more weight in the final outcome.
Here's a summary of the NEST 2024 exam structure:
- Number of sections: 4 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics)
- Marks per section: 50
- Total marks: 200
- Sectional weightage: None (all sections are equally weighted)
