Netaji Subhash Engineering College offers Degree and Diploma courses including 14 UG and 6 PG courses. Additionally, it also has After 10th Diploma courses. There were total of 34 students who got their branch slided in 2015 including me.
The criteria is very simple,you must have CGPA of above 8.5 in first two semesters with no Backlog papers.Official statement is in any branch ,a total of 10 percentage increment of total sanctioned strength of that branch can be accommodated through sliding.
Like ECE has sanctioned strength of 90 so a total of 9 students can get slided to ECE from other branches.
This criteria is strictly followed and only top 9 will get slided from all students who aspire to get a particular branch.
So,better study hard in 1st year and score maximum CGPA to land to your preferred branch.
Earlier my branch was Production Engineering and I got it slided to ECE.
