Yes, the NIOS 10th board exam is equivalent to the CBSE, ICSE and other state boards. Students can join regular school for 11th after successful completion of NIOS 10th board exam.

You can join for B.Tech course through lateral entry. After your 10th, you can join for 3 year Govt authorized Polytechnic Diploma course. Polytechnic course is a 3 year Diploma programme in fields like electronics, electrical engineering, civil, mechanical etc. Once you successfully complete Polytechnic course, you can appear for the Lateral entry entrance test. Thus you can join in the second year or 3rd semester of the regular BTech course in engineering colleges.

No, NIOS will not publish the NIOS 10th result date 2025. NIOS 10th result October 2025 will be released in January 2026 tentatively. NIOS result 2025 Class 10 will be published on the official website results.nios.ac.in/.

As of March 28, 2025, NIOS 10th registrations for the April/May 2025 exams have concluded. The registration period ended on December 20, 2024. Subsequent late fee periods extended until January 10, 2025. For the October/November 2025 exams (Block II), registrations are anticipated to open in September 2025. Students should secure minimum 33% of the total marks for passing the NIOS Class 10 exam. According to the official website of the NIOS Board, the passing criteria are as follows: 1. For the secondary course, you need to score a minimum of 33% in the aggregate. Your score can be in theory plus practical (where applicable). 2. For senior secondary, you need to score at least 33% separately in the practical and theory exams. 3.
