There is no placement cell at NISER. However, students who score more than 7.5 CGPA after 5 years integrated M.Sc. Course get a chance to attend an interview for the post of C grade scientist in the BARC with a salary of Rs. 80,000 per month. Usually, students do Ph.D. from top institutions abroad and India.

In order to pursue M.Ed one should meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria: General candidates need to secure a minimum of 50% to 60% marks in graduation courses from a recognised university. SC/ST/OBC/Differently able candidates get 5% relaxation in qualifying percentage in graduation. M.Ed.
