National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) is located in Jatani, Odisha. The college was established in 2007. The college offers M.Sc. If you are planning to pursue research as a career, then no doubt these institutes are among the best in India. But in India, currently, earning money after B.Sc. and even M.Sc. is challenging as compared to MBBS. In the end, you should choose a degree of your choice because it is only then you would excel in your career. Also, both occupations are equally necessary; a country requires scientists and doctors to keep running the country, but unfortunately, only a few fractions of students take up research as compared to medicine.

There is no specific course for biotech. Here, you can master Biological Sciences, which will cover almost every topic of Biology in general including biotechnology.

If you complete Ph.D. from any of these places. You will have good chance to earn in Lacs every month. You will be either professor in top IITs, top colleges, researcher in government Institutes or private companies or doing some technical job in industry. All of these pay very well. Even your study at these institutions you will be getting good stipend. You can join any of these Institutes in 3 ways.
1. After class 12. For BSMS using JEE or NEET
2. After B.Sc. For integrated Ph.D. using IIT JAM or jest
3 after M.Sc. As a Ph.D. using GATE/net/jest
Iisc is the best. Than comes top IISER than niser. And in last new iisers.

Hello, as the marks vary, the total marks of the examination should be between 180 to 240 but the cutoff to be between 80 to 110 marks. But in my opinion, it should not bother you much as just clearing the cutoff will do you no good. Getting a seat all depends on your rank. Get a rank below 700 and you have a chance to get admitted to NISER. This would need a score of around 50 to 55 percent.

Two seats in both the institutions are reserved for candidates from the state of Jammu and Kashmir. These two seats are supernumerary over the 200 and 45 seats, respectively, at NISER and CEBS.
