With a JEE Mains 2023 EWS rank of 41000, you have a reasonable chance of securing admission to a good NIT (National Institute of Technology) or IIIT (Indian Institute of Information Technology) for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch. Additionally, it's advisable to participate in the counseling process conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) or CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board), as they are responsible for the centralized counseli

It is very difficult to get NITs, because your percentile is not sufficient to get seat in NITs if your category is general or OBC.

Hey in csab only those NIT'S take part which have some empty seats left and the probability of getting any NIT in CSAB depends upon the no of seats available . According to you JEE Mains rank we cannot predict as there are many more criteria while selecting a candidates and some times seats are left empty instead of taking student.

It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category. If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs

The admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) is based on various factors including the candidate's JEE Main rank, category, and availability of seats. With an EWS rank of 39148 in JEE Mains, you have a decent chance of securing admission to NITs, although the specific NIT and branch you can get will depend on factors such as the opening and closing ranks for the respective institute and branch in the particular year.
Considering the previous years' trends and approximate cutoffs, here are some NITs and branches that you may have a chance of getting with an EWS rank of 39148:
- NIT Silchar: Civil Engineering, Electrical Enginee

Based on your JEE Mains Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 42722, it is possible to get admission for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in some National Institutes of Technology (NITs) or other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). However, admission cutoffs can vary each year and depend on several factors such as the number of available seats, the popularity of the program, and the preferences of other candidates.
To determine your chances of admission, it's recommended to refer to the previous year's cutoff ranks for CSE in various NITs and GFTIs. This will give you an idea of the rank range that was accepted for this progr

Yes. It is possible that you can get admission to a NIT with your current rank of 17781 in EWS category. You have a better chance of getting admission to a NIT with your current EWS rank.

There is no such feature that converts other state seats of NITs to home state.Usually all seats are filled because for a home state student both the home state rank and the crl is considered. The system tires to fill these other state seats using the crl incase other state candidates is not available or is less or the seats are going vacant.
