It's hard to get a college with this rank, if luck stays by your side, you can try NIT raipur, NIT agartala, NIT arunanchal pradesh, NIT hamirpur, NIT Puducherry. It will be difficult to get branches like CS, IT but you can try for the relatively less preferred branches.

When it comes to placement opportunities for M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, several factors come into play, including the reputation of the institute, industry collaborations, faculty expertise, research facilities, and alumni network. While I can't provide real-time data or rankings, I can mention a few National Institutes of Technology (NITs) that are generally renowned for their chemical engineering programs and have a history of offering good placement opportunities. You stand a good chance of being admitted to the CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) programme at one of the NITs (National Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology), or DTU (Delhi Technological University) with a JEE Main rank of 9235 in the SC category. The number of seats and the entrance requirements for each institute will, however, determine which colleges within these institutions can accept applicants.
Congratulations in achieving this rank and all the best wishes for your further studies!

* *Your caste/category:* If you belong to a reserved category, you will have a higher chance of getting a seat than if you are from a general category.
* *Your performance in JEE Advanced:* If you perform well in JEE Advanced, you may be eligible for a seat in an IIT or NIT through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) counseling.

The top 20 percentile students of each education board will now be eligible to seek admission in IITs and NITs and appear for JEE Advanced even if they have not scored 75 per cent marks in class 12, according to Ministry of Education sources. The 20 percentile criteria will help those candidates who are short of 75 per cent aggregate in their class 12 boards. Discussions were held and since many of the top 20 percentile candidates in a number of state boards score below 75 per cent marks or 350 marks, the ministry decided that if a candidate is in the top 20 percentile he or she is eligible

Yes, you will able to get into state government colleges but it will very hard to get into any NIT even in last Round of JOSAA Counselling. You can try in JAC Delhi and CSAB counseling in spot round by this you can get lower branches in colleges like DTU, NSIT.
