As you are interested in Mechanical engineering as well as computer Science engineering. Then, NIT Rourkela is the best option. NIT Rourkela has good opportunity for both mechanical engineering as well as computer Science engineering. But, it depends on your interest that which branch you choose. Both the branch has equal importance and holds equally best placement records. Core companies like Tata steel, Vedanta, Tata motors, Maruti - Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra and many more visit our campus every year and recruit meritorious students as Graduate engineer Trainees. It is little bit tough to get a good branch, but you can get a lower branches in some of the NIT like Srinagar, Hamirpur, Agartala, etc.

With reservation, this is not a good rank. You cannot get an NIT with this rank if you have reservation.
