If you are asking for National Institute of Technology admission procedure then it is only on the basis of your score in JEE Main and Advanced exam. For SC/ST category, it will be very easier to get the admission in this college but for the general category students it will be very difficult to get a seat in even NIT at 150-160. So, please work hard and score more not just the qualifying marks.

Admission into NIT does not depend only on your JEE score. They also take your 12 grade percentage and many more. 80 is not that good a score but you might have a chance if your other scores are high.

It's tough to get an NIT with just 49 marks. Well, keeping the difficulty of JEE 2018 in mind, maybe, you can make it into an NIT but branch may not be good.

It depends on which NIT you get admitted. Each NIT has its own fee structure and is about 1.2 Lacs per annum on an average. Go through the website of each NIT for more details.

No, you cannot get it. But you should at least fill the counselling form. May be you get any college if any seat remains vacant. Otherwise There are so many good colleges, Please try for them. I personally suggest you to fill the form for the Nirma university. According to JEE marks and 12th marks, You can get admission in it. Please try for it. It is the top 29th ranked university in India among all the IITs, NITs and others.
Thanks.

Hello Laxmikant,
As per the your marks and your category, you will definitely qualify for JEE Advanced however chances of getting any NITs are very slim for you.
All the best.

Depends on your rank. If your rank comes around 1000-1500 in general PWD, you may stand a chance. Chances are less for old NITs but you may get a seat in the new ones.

Just by getting qualifying marks, it isn't possible to get into NITs. Your score should be greater than 180 to have a go at NIT. But since you are of ST category, it might fall down till 100 but not less than that.

No, you cannot get NITs, but you can get a government college of your state. Be aware at the time of counselling and fill your choices wisely.
