Well, getting any NIT or IIIT is quite tough. In very rare case, you can get admission here, but from this year, things have changed. As government declared that no seats will remain vacant, you may probably get any IIITs.

The minimum score to get a seat in NITs is 130-150.

You cannot get admission in IITs or NITs based on state board marks. In order to seek admission in IITs or NITs, you are advised to appear for JEE Mains and Advanced.

Hello,
Your brother scored only 90 out if 360 marks. Why obsession with engineering? As per reports almost 40% students don't get any job. Think of some other profession like commerce, finance, humanities etc.

Hello Sharon,
Even OBC candidates have started getting quite good marks in exams these days. Hence, you may not get admission in legacy NIT but I feel you may get admission in one of the NITs.

Tha advantage that NATA gives you is that it is accepted throughout India in all architecture colleges.

Old NITs are better than new IIT 's and moreover, it depends on the branch which you choose. All the best.
