I would definitely say that branch is all that matters as in the long run from where you did your engineering fades away what remains is that how good you are in your field hence I would suggest always take branch of your interest and future scope even if you have to compromise with the NIT.

hii. If you are a general category candidate then your jee mains marks are quite low to get inti a decent college through aieee.you may apply in Dacit Gujarat, jaypee noida, deen dayal petroleum university,etc
