Just getting into any NIT is no big deal. If I go by previous year's data there is unbelievable huge variation in AIR's of students who got admission in same NIT. This year, even though AIR will be decided only on marks obtained in JEE Mains, I do not expect pattern to change. So, do not worry about getting into any NIT but think of getting good marks in JEE Mains which will enable you to get admission in your desired NIT.

To get a good NIT you must secure 170+ marks out of 360 and total marks vary in JEE advance but to acquire a seat score should be 130+. If questions are very difficult then 100+ is sufficient to get a seat.
