To get admission in NIT, Warangal or any other top 10 NITs with 83% in boards you have to score somewhere between 260-300 marks in JEE Mains.

Try in exams like CAT, MAT, XAT and CMAT. NITW deals with average scores on these exams. Just maintain a perfect time table and prepare according to the plan. You can crack it.

The admission to all the BTech programs in NITs is done through JEE Mains only. Therefore, you will have to appear in Maths paper to claer JEE. You will have to take Maths as sixth subject with your 12th class board or Maths as additional subject after 12th board.

NIT, Warangal doesn't accept ICET score. You should appear for MAT, CAT, CMAT or XAT exam to get admission in the same.

Quite well if planning for RESEARCH. I would rather say its the best field if one wishes to go for higher studies. B.tech at NIT-W would definitely help you build a firm base for further studies. Coming to the Placements,recently,the number of companies visiting the campus are quite considerable. Most of the students sitting for campus interviews are placed. But the scales are not that high for B.tech Biotech graduates as they are for graduates of other fields. Make a wise choice that would serve your expectations well. Best wishes :)
