NMIMS Mumbai PhD admission is entirely entrance-based. The university conducts its in-house written test, which is conudcted in two modes, i.e, NMIMS written Research Ability Test and Objective Subject Specific Knowledge Test. Aspirants can also apply via other national-level entranace exam such as UGC NET (including JRF)/ CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ Teacher Fellowship examination of the apex bodies in higher/ technical professional education or other equivalent examination over a period of the last three years. Candidates are required to qualify for any one of the entrance exam with a valid score.
