NMIMS Mumbai offers a 2-year full-time MBA in Human Resource Management (HRM). To apply, you need a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. Having some work experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Admission is done through the NMAT by GMAC exam—only your first attempt score will be considered. After clearing the NMAT, you'll go through a competency test and a personal interview. Your academic record and work experience will also be considered during the final selection. The usual NMAT cut-off for MBA-HRM is around 209. The total course fee is about INR 11.95 lakhs. Applications usually start in August and end by October, and the

Since you're already from a business background, an MBA will sharpen your foundation and expand your leadership skills. While IIMs and a few IITs top the list, private universities like Chandigarh University (CU) are becoming increasingly popular for their ROI, curriculum quality, and global collaborations. CU offers a wide range of MBA specialisations with dual specialisation options and industry-partnered courses like MBA with IBM (Business Analytics), PwC (Applied Finance), and Adobe (Digital Marketing). It's ranked #1 in QS Asia University Rankings 2025 and #4 in QS World University Rankings 2025 for Business and Management, making

With this score in the entrance exam, you have very few chances of getting admission to NIMIMS. The last round NMAT cutoff in the year 2024 (General All India) was 248, and the same was in 2023. So as your score is quite low and the difference is huge, your chances are less. However, any guaranteed statement cannot be given as the cutoff varies every year according to the seats intake and demand. You are advised to wait for the final cutoff list and reappear for the exam or go to any other institute if you don't get selected.
