JIIT pays much more than CU as in the JIIT, college has tie-ups with many companies in the NCT as well as of the NCR region but this is not in the CU.

The highest pack of the JIIT-Noida is INR. 12 LPA and the lowest pack is INR 2.5 LPA, but it is the pack that a student get having backlogs in 2 subjects, but if you are clear in all the subjects then you can easily grab INR. 3- INR. 4 LPA pack easily here.

Noida-sector 62 campus is the best, and sector 128 campus is not so good for the CS branch, as in that campus the faculty is not good in comparison of the 62 campus.

You can expect a minimum pack of 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA of maximum other than that if you apply for the off campus placements then you might get some good pack above then this depending on the skills you have in that field.

Hi,
As per the University website of JIIT-Noida, the highest salary package offered is about Rs 39.12 Lacs by Adobe. The placement record of JIIT in CSE from 2014-2018 is about 95%. Where as CU (Chandigarh University) is claiming it about Rs 31.77 Lacs in year 2017. CU has placed the total 5137 number of students in 2017. Further on the basis of your JEE rank you can get admission in both the colleges very easily. But why not trying for government engineering colleges because your rank is very good and you can get admission in any reputed government colleges or in NITs also with different branch.

Hello Hartej,
On the basis of placements and overall parameters I will rate Thapar University at 1st and JIIT, Noida at 2nd and then CU. However, as per your JEE rank your chances are slim to get CSE at Thapar University so I will suggest you to go for JIIT Noida.

I prepared for CAT17 and attended classes at Alchemist. It does not currently have a branch in Noida however, they have various facilities which may be helpful to you in terms of time management so you could consider it. Alchemist follows a modular approach which makes it possible to attend classes according to your convenience. Why aren't you seeking admission for B.Tech in CS (lateral entry)? You will get admission in the 2nd year. In case of B.Tech, you will get a degree within three years same as in case of B.Sc (CS). But remember here that B.Tech (CS) has more weightage than B.Sc (CS).
The following are the few colleges offering B.Tech (CS) courses through lateral entry:
1. Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida
2. IEC Group of Institutions, Greater Noida
3. Galgotias University, Greater Noida
4. Amity University, Noida
