It looks difficult with 80% in CAT. But, as admissions depends on relative parameters, you can be hopeful.

KIET and JIIT both are good institutes. It is difficult to choose between two. KIET is famous for mechanical and civil. The placement at KIET is really awesome. JIIT is fully technical equipped institute and placement at JIIT for CSE and IT is good too.
All the best.

CSE in Jaypee, Noida is a better option. This college is good in terms of reputation and placements. It has a good name in engineering colleges among others. CSE have more scope than IT. So you can prefer CSE over IT.

I don't think it is a good idea to drop a year as there is no surety that next year you are going to get very good score. If you get a good score that's good if you don't then will you drop again? No, you can't keep on doing this again and again.Better would be grab what comes to you this year only and try making best of it.In case your JEE score doesn't let you take admission somewhere, try for admission in some private university where you can get admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.
