Northeastern Illinois University students are eligible to work part-time on-campus employment. For more details, check the official website. As per the visa guidelines, international students can work up to only 20 hours per week during the term and 25 hrs/wk during all breaks. After your first year you can apply to work off campus on the CPT program in jobs related to your program of study.
A few important points:
- US law only allows part time study under very specific cercumstances: (1) 1st semester if there is a unique language or prepartion deficit; (2) for a documented medical condition (mental, emotional or physical); or

Yes, NEIU offers scholarships to international students. The details of the scholarships are given below:
- NEIU Provost Merit Freshman Scholarship: Applicable for freshman students who have applied for early admission are eligible. Also, a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher is required. The amount of the scholarship is up to USD 2,000 (Around INR 1.7 L)
- NEIU Deans Merit Freshman Scholarship: Freshman students who have applied for early admission are eligible for this scholarship at NEIU. A GPA of 3.0 is required and the amount is up to USD 1,000 (Around INR 85k)

So, the applicants who plan apply to this university must meet the entry requirements to have a higher chance of admissions. Northeastern Illinois University application fee for international students is USD 30 (INR 2,500+) for Master's students. However, USD 89 is the application fee for MBA and MSA programs.The applicants can apply to this university online, and a few documents that have to be submitted are academic transcripts, financial documents, passport copy, English language proficiency score, etc. To be admitted to UG courses, a High school qualification is required. On the other hand, for admission to PG courses, the applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree.
