Driems School and College of Nursing has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Only FEMALE candidates who have cleared class 12 exams or equivalent exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects and have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12 and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate. The detailed eligibility criteria is provided in the programme prospectus released by the exam conducting authorities.

Candidates who have cleared class 12 exams or equivalent exams from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects and have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12 and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate. Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025. The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years for Unreserved (UR), OBC, EWS, SC and ST, however the maximum Age for candidates with Physical Disability (PH) will be 40 years.

At Baidyanath Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science, General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM course is offered for a duration of three years. Candidates who want to secure a seat at BINPS must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria. Aspirants must have passed Class 12, shall be of minimum 17 years of age and must be medically fit at the time of applying for the course. Direct admission is offered to candidates to pass all the eligibility requirements.

For the posts of Military Nursing Service, only female candidates are eligible. The candidates of any other gender do not complete the Military Nursing Service eligibility.
The interested candidates must have passed 12th (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), and English .
The candidates who are in their final year of BSc nursing can also apply for the Military Nursing Service .

The Criteria for admission into a bsc nursing program is you need to clear your 10+2 from a recognized board with Biology as a core subject. Biology is compulsory for enrolling into a nursing program so that you have your basic concepts cleared before taking admission in a program where you want to make your career
